Description
We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer with deep expertise in Frontend engineering to join our team. This role will focus on building and scaling our Workflow Builder, a mission-critical part of the product that enables customers to automate and orchestrate complex processes. The ideal candidate has prior experience building large-scale, user-centric platforms, with strong technical leadership and team mentoring skills.
What You’ll Do
- Lead development of the Workflow Builder with emphasis on usability, performance, and scalability.
- Architect and deliver complex, high-impact features end-to-end, ensuring system reliability and maintainability.
- Mentor and coach a small team of engineers, raising the bar for code quality, performance, and design principles.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Architects to align technical solutions with business needs.
- Champion engineering best practices, CI/CD improvements, and developer experience initiatives.
- Explore and adopt modern frameworks, design patterns and tooling for FE to future-proof the product.

- Exhibit a product-centric mindset, collaborating with Product Managers and Designers to develop features that not only resolve technical challenges but also enhance user satisfaction.
- Maintain a curious and open approach to exploring emerging frameworks, design patterns, and tools, ensuring the team remains at the vanguard of technological advancements.
- Be motivated by impact and enthusiastic about undertaking the challenge of building and scaling our Workflow Builder, a pivotal component of the product that empowers customers to achieve more.
- Contribute to our shared UI library, which is utilized by numerous engineering teams throughout the organization.
- Develop automated unit tests and end-to-end tests for your code and services. Quality is paramount, and all team members share responsibility for it.
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies, consistently and sustainably delivering value within two-week sprints.
We’d especially love to hear from you if:
- Demonstrated excellence in crafting readable and efficient TypeScript code.
- Possess a strong history of project leadership and mentorship for software engineers.
- Experienced in working with micro-frontends in a production environment.
- Prior experience in developing a workflow builder.
- Familiar with frameworks/libraries such as CSS-modules and Next.js.

- Hub - 100% work from Simpplr office. Role requires Simpplifier to be in the office full-time.
- Hybrid - Hybrid work from home and office. Role dictates the ability to work from home, plus benefit from in-person collaboration on a regular basis.
- Remote - 100% remote. Role can be done anywhere within your country of hire, as long as the requirements of the role are met.
