Laboratory Technician (m/f/x) Development Services

At our plants in Halle/Westphalia and Bloomington/Indiana, we produce drugs for the treatment of various cancers and other life-threatening diseases. 

In the role as a Laboratory Technician (m/f/x) Development Services, your overall focus is on preparing, calculating, executing, and documenting experiments and analyses in formulation and lyophilization development projects in close collaboration with the department’s development scientists.

In your new role, you will be empowered to:

• GDP-compliant documentation of all experimental results
• Gain expert knowledge on analytical equipment in the development services department
• Continuously improving department-specific processes and interfaces to cooperating departments, e.g., the quality control
• Maintain and improve lean and safety status in the development laboratory.
• Support maintenance and calibration work for all installations and assets in the development laboratory.
• Support laboratory logistics (e.g., material transfer into and out of the development laboratory, waste handling, etc.)

What you'll bring:

• Completed vocational training as chemical laboratory worker, chemical-technical assistant, medical-technical assistant, biological-technical assistant or equivalent
• Self-motivated, high energy-level, ability to handle projects in parallel
• Organized, structured and results-oriented approach to work with pronounced “hands-on mindset”
• Background in particle and/or protein analytical technologies desirable
• Team spirit, well-developed interpersonal skills
• Very good communication skills in connection with good written and spoken German and English skills
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as experience with laboratory management systems and electronic laboratory notebooks desirable
