SingleStore is seeking an accomplished strategic account executive to lead and grow some of our most important customer relationships. In this role you won’t simply manage a book of business, you will shape how leading companies use data to power their next wave of growth.

As a Strategic Account Executive, you’ll become a trusted partner to your customers, developing a deep understanding of their business priorities, data environments, and growth ambitions. You’ll turn that insight into strategies that expand SingleStore’s footprint, unlock new workloads and business units, deepen executive relationships, and drive measurable customer impact.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Own and grow large, strategic customer accounts, navigating multi-stakeholder environments and managing complexity across decision-makers.
  • Build and execute multi-year account plans that map business priorities, workloads, architecture, stakeholders, executive relationships, competitive presence, whitespace, and expansion pathways.
  • Develop the expansion hypothesis, executive sponsorship plan, and commercial path for each priority account while coordinating ownership with adjacent account teams.
  • Protect renewal quality while driving net expansion through new workloads, business units, use cases, multi-year enterprise agreements, true-ups, and other customer-aligned commercial structures.
  • Make Aura Intelligence a standard account-plan motion by connecting customers’ existing SingleStore data to intelligent, real-time experiences through relevant proof, demos, and business cases.
  • Build executive relationships and lead strategic business reviews that align customer priorities, adoption, measurable outcomes, and next-step opportunities.
  • Lead complex expansion sales cycles from opportunity creation through value case, negotiation, contracting, and close, maintaining disciplined plans, forecasts, and CRM hygiene.
  • Partner closely with Sales Engineering, Sales Development and Field Marketing to drive deal strategy, pipeline generation, and execution.
  • Travel within the assigned territory as required to support customer engagement and sales activities.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5-10 yrs of successful quota-carrying enterprise software, cloud, data infrastructure, database, or SaaS sales experience
  • A demonstrated track record of growing strategic existing accounts through expansion, cross-sell, upsell, new workloads, or broader enterprise adoption.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-year relationships across business units, technical teams, executives, procurement, legal, finance, and partners.
  • Strong enterprise account-planning, whitespace-mapping, opportunity-management, forecasting, negotiation, and commercial execution skills.
  • Technical fluency in databases, data infrastructure, analytics, cloud platforms, applications, AI/ML, or related enterprise technologies.
  • Proven ability to build trusted C-suite relationships and lead consultative , value-based conversations tied to measurable customer outcomes.Strong executive communication, presentation, facilitation, written-communication, and cross-functional orchestration skills.
  • B.S, B.A. degree or equivalent in a related field

SingleStore’s base salary range for this role is $90,000 to $150,000 with annual target earnings of $180,000 to $300,000 at quota with significant accelerators for overperformance.
