VP, Americas Sales

United States

The Opportunity

SingleStore is seeking a regional sales leader to lead the east regional new-logo seller team focused on customer acquisition. Reporting to the CRO, this leader will lead the Americas sales organization across Enterprise, Commercial, and Strategic segments, with a primary mandate to accelerate net-new logo acquisition.

This role is accountable for building a repeatable, measurable new-logo engine through fearless prospecting, excellent discovery, champion creation, disciplined deal execution, and strong activity inspection.

SingleStore is at an important growth point, expanding both revenue and employee count as it helps customers modernize data environments and build AI-powered applications. This is an opportunity to build and lead a strong new-logo team across the Americas and join the momentum of the company’s next phase. You’ll have real ownership of the strategy, the team, and how we go after the market, while staying close to the customers and deals that matter most. The goal is to build a team and sales motion that can win consistently and scale.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the regional new-logo plan, territory coverage, pipeline target, and execution rhythm for the AE Hunter team.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop regional sellers through clear goals, regular 1:1s, call and discovery reviews, deal coaching, and actionable feedback.
  • Set a high-urgency operating cadence for outbound activity, outreach quality, first meetings, discovery progression, pipeline creation, and new-logo attainment.
  • Inspect activity and outcomes—not just forecasts—including outreach volume and quality, meetings, discovery conversion, pipeline created, stage progression, win rate, sales-cycle velocity, quota attainment, and new-logo performance.
  • Use transparent reporting and metrics to identify gaps early, improve conversion, and hold the team accountable to agreed actions.
  • Coach AEs to prospect fearlessly, lead great business-first discovery, build champions, multi-thread buying groups, and create quantified customer value.
  • Lead weekly pipeline, opportunity, forecast, and activity reviews; improve qualification, deal strategy, forecast accuracy, and close execution.
  • Partner with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Sales Development, Revenue Operations, and Customer Success to improve pipeline quality and first production outcomes.
  • Personally engage in priority new-logo pursuits through executive alignment, inspection, coaching, and close strategy.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of enterprise software, SaaS, cloud, data, analytics, AI, or related technology sales experience, including 5+ years leading quota-carrying teams.
  • A proven record of building high-performing new-logo teams and generating outbound pipeline in complex enterprise markets.
  • Strong operating discipline and fluency with activity metrics, pipeline coverage, conversion analysis, forecast inspection, CRM, and reporting.
  • A hands-on coaching approach grounded in call review, discovery inspection, deal inspection, and measurable behavior change.
  • Experience coaching sellers on prospecting, discovery, champion building, executive engagement, business value, and competitive selling.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technology buyers and modern data, AI, and cloud priorities.
  • Executive presence, sound judgment, high standards, and the ability to balance urgency with trust.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the Americas for customers, partners, team engagement, and company events.

How Success Will Be Measured

  • Consistent, qualified regional pipeline creation and coverage
  • Improved outreach-to-meeting and meeting-to-opportunity conversion
  • Strong discovery quality, champion development, and multi-threaded opportunities
  • New-logo attainment, win rate, sales-cycle velocity, and first production workloads
  • Accurate forecasts, clean CRM, timely reporting, and visible activity inspection
  • Seller productivity, coaching impact, retention, and talent development

Why Join SingleStore

  • Shape the growth strategy for a high-impact Americas business at a pivotal stage.
  • Lead across Enterprise, Commercial, and Strategic sales with broad ownership and executive visibility.
  • Help customers solve some of the most important challenges in modern data, real-time applications, and AI.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
