Plan Build Specialist

SISCO (Self Insured Services Company) is a leading third-party benefit administration firm dedicated to maximizing the value of employee benefits for our clients. We are continuing to grow, and as a result of that growth, we are adding a Plan Build Specialist to our team. 

Essential Functions:

  • Emphasis on preparing document templates and plan document related tasks.
  • Work with clients and internal support teams to analyze objectives and formulate, test, and execute solutions.
  • Build and maintain project plans and periodically report on status to senior leadership.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures documentation.
  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of operating systems and ensure proper data connections between multiple systems.
  • Build benefits for new clients according to their plan specifications and participate in implementation calls for clarifications.
  • Complete plan build changes and updates regarding amendments and program changes for existing groups.

What We're Looking For:

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, experience with mail merge and Excel preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organization.
  • Self-motivated and be able to multitask.
  • Above-average verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with external customers, internal resources, and team members.

Experience

  • Employee benefit/insurance knowledge helpful but not required.
  • Familiarity with employee benefit plans and plan documents preferred.
  • Previous experience with Ebix Enterprise, LuminX, Redcard, SmartSheet helpful but not required.
