Compensation: 160,000 + 30% Bonus + Equity

About the Role

A leading defense technology organization is seeking a customer-oriented Senior Product Manager to drive the development of a Logistics Application within a mission-critical analytics and software platform supporting U.S. national security and defense operations.

This is an individual contributor role reporting to a senior product leader. The role is responsible for prioritizing, rationalizing, and integrating new features and existing prototypes into a production-scale logistics application. You will be accountable for delivering high-impact, differentiated solutions end-to-end, while partnering closely with sales, implementation, engineering, and design teams.

The ideal candidate is motivated by market adoption, thrives in ambiguity, and excels at translating real-world customer problems into scalable, productized solutions.


What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for logistics-focused application capabilities

  • Identify opportunities to deliver customer value at scale and prioritize initiatives accordingly

  • Partner with customer-facing product managers to integrate prototype workflows into full production

  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, data science, sales, and implementation teams

  • Shape how the logistics product offering is positioned and communicated in the market

  • Balance customer needs, business objectives, technical constraints, and delivery timelines


Typical Weekly Activities

  • Spend time on-site with users to understand workflows, pain points, and common use cases across accounts

  • Translate customer problems into clear product requirements and solution definitions

  • Partner with sales to assess customer opportunities and roadmap alignment

  • Define how solutions deliver value across diverse customer environments

  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to deliver high-impact capabilities


Scope of Responsibilities

  • Define addressable market size, competitive landscape, and near-term sales opportunities for new features

  • Validate concepts using frameworks such as the Value Proposition Canvas and Business Model Canvas

  • Build and defend business cases for prioritization decisions

  • Partner with engineering and data science teams to scope investment, timelines, and delivery feasibility

  • Facilitate go-to-market efforts for new features while managing risk, cost, and speed

  • Ensure smooth integration of prototype capabilities into production for use across customer accounts


Qualifications

Required

  • U.S. Citizenship

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or technology-related field

  • 5+ years of experience in a product or software role

  • Experience with enterprise software (B2B or B2G)

  • Strong customer value orientation and ownership mindset

  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

  • Domain expertise in Logistics or related fields

  • Experience working in or around the U.S. Department of Defense

  • Full product lifecycle experience (idea → launch → iteration)

  • Familiarity with Value Proposition Canvas and/or Business Model Canvas frameworks

  • Advanced degree in a business or technical discipline

  • Experience in startup or entrepreneurial environments

  • Active Top Secret security clearance, or ability to obtain one with sponsorship
