Our Client is building the “Amazon for Government” — a world where any company can sell to government in a few clicks. We help companies identify, pursue, and win the government opportunities they’re most likely to convert, while making it dramatically easier for governments to buy from the private sector.
We already work with Fortune 500 companies and the U.S. Government, have surpassed $5M+ in ARR, and are scaling rapidly. We’re entering our next growth phase and are looking for early team members who want real ownership and impact.
The Role
We’re hiring a Founding Capture Strategist to bring real-world government contracting expertise into the heart of our product and customer motion. This role is ideal for someone who has lived the capture process and is ready to modernize how government business is won.
You will work directly with enterprise customers, internal product and engineering teams, and leadership to help define how capture is done at scale.
Responsibilities

Advise enterprise customers on capture strategy, opportunity qualification, and government procurement workflows

Lead customer onboardings, pilots, and rollouts, driving adoption across BD and capture teams

Act as the voice of the user internally, translating real capture pain points into product and roadmap insights

Partner with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to shape features and workflows

Support customers through opportunity identification, pursuit strategy, and pipeline management

Help define best practices and repeatable processes as the company scales
Requirements

1–5 years of experience in government contracting, capture, BD, proposal development, or federal consulting

Firsthand experience working with federal opportunities (e.g., SAM.gov, RFPs, budget tracking, proposals)

Strong understanding of how defense and government companies pursue and win new business

Comfortable working with senior stakeholders at large enterprises

Tech-forward mindset; comfortable adopting and implementing new tools (AI familiarity strongly preferred)

Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
