AllBooked by Skedda is our business unit focused on businesses monetizing their venues. Our customers include athletic facilities, studios, creative spaces, event venues, community centers, and coworking spaces. We’re experiencing significant growth in our AllBooked segment, making it an exciting time to join the AllBooked team.
We are seeking a Team Lead or Engineering Manager to guide a full-stack team in building and launching new features. In this role, you’ll focus on enabling the team’s success by shaping technical direction, ensuring high standards in design and implementation, and fostering a culture of quality and collaboration. You’ll support engineers in tackling complex challenges and adopting best practices, while driving alignment with product and business goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular 1-1s with each team member to provide coaching, feedback, and career development support
- Mentor and coach engineers through code reviews and day-to-day support, raising the technical bar and fostering Skedda’s culture of ownership and growth
- Coding won’t be your primary responsibility, but you should remain comfortable engaging directly when needed.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering team members to develop and deliver high-quality features
- Manage two-week Agile sprints and facilitate standup meetings
- Champion automated testing and maintain a high standard of code quality
- Operate with an ownership mindset, taking technical projects from concept to launch while proactively identifying and solving problems
- Research, propose, test, and implement new techniques, processes and technologies
Skills & Experience
- 9+ years of full stack development with C# and .NET/Core (ideally SaaS products)
- 5+ years of leading projects and global teams
- Strong experience with front end JavaScript frameworks
- Strong experience developing Web APIs
- Strong SQL skills (SQL Server preferred)
- Strong TDD and test automation skills (both unit and integration testing)
- Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud
- Azure DevOps experience is a plus
