Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly experienced financial professional to lead and support GDG’s transaction activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical background, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in executing complex financial transactions in the US market. This role requires a strategic thinker who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

I. Financial Analysis and Evaluation

  • Analyze and evaluate financial statements, reports, and market data to determine the overall financial condition of target companies or investment opportunities.
  • Identify and interpret specific trends, risks, and investment characteristics.

II. Financial Modeling and Reconstruction

  • Reverse engineer available data and information to reconstruct financial statements and develop robust financial projections.
  • Build and maintain complex financial models to support transaction analysis.

III. Valuation Expertise

  • Conduct comprehensive valuation exercises using various methodologies (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions, etc.).
  • Assess business models and underlying assumptions to ensure accuracy and reliability of valuations.

IV. Risk Identification and Mitigation

  • Identify key risk points in financial structures, market conditions, and business operations.
  • Propose and implement mitigation strategies to protect investment and transaction integrity.

V. Due Diligence Leadership

  • Lead and coordinate due diligence processes with internal teams and external advisors (legal, accounting, regulatory, etc.).
  • Synthesize findings and present actionable insights to senior management.

VI. Investor Presentations

  • Prepare clear, compelling, and professional investor presentation materials.
  • Present financial analyses, transaction rationale, and investment recommendations to both internal and external audiences.

Qualification:   

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in M&A, corporate finance, or financing transactions within the US market.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with expertise in financial modeling and valuation.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex transaction processes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders and investors.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Compensation:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. Pay within the provided range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related skills and experience. Pay Range

$205,000 - $260,000 USD
