Job Summary:

The Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, operations and safety of SK hynix America’s office buildings, lab facility, and server room. Not only limited to building operation but also managing vendors, providing service to employees and completion of duties associated with other departments. This role ensures that all critical infrastructure, including HVAC systems, elevators, emergency generators, UPS systems, and fire safety equipment, is properly maintained and compliant with regulatory requirements. The Facility Manager also manages service agreements for landscaping, janitorial services, cafeteria operations, and corporate vehicle vendors. This role goes beyond facility maintenance to include employees experience, office space planning, and workplace services.
Responsibilities:
Facility Operations & Maintenance
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and other building systems.
- Ensure timely repairs and maintenance of building infrastructure and equipment.
- Supervise and coordinate work with external vendors and service providers.
- Manage emergency response procedures and facility-related risk mitigation strategies.
- Create annual facility maintenance plan and execution
Vendor & Contract Management
- Oversee operational service agreements, including janitorial, landscaping, cafeteria, vehicle maintenance and all other maintenance service providers.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and service quality.
- Understand service contract Request for Proposal (RFP) process and be able to execute the vendor selection.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with agreed-upon service levels. Be able to create vendor performance review report.
- Perform Quarterly Business Review (QBR) and access vendor’s performance to align with contracted service goal
Compliance & Safety Management
- Ensure the facility meets all local, state, and federal compliance requirements.
- Work closely with the Safety Manager to enforce workplace safety protocols and emergency preparedness plans.
- Maintain documentation for inspections, permits, and compliance reports.
- Function as after-hours contact for Building systems for company
- Understand evacuation procedures and be part of the Emergency Response Team
Team Leadership & Coordination
- Supervise facility staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT, security, and department heads, to align facility needs with business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in facility management, maintenance, or operations.
- Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and security).
- Experience managing vendor contracts and service agreements.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Lv1 or Lv2) for facilities management tasks including, not limited to space planning, drawing interpretation, and basic drawing create and modification.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Ability to respond to facility emergencies outside of regular business hours.
- May require occasional lifting, climbing ladders, or working in confined spaces.
- Office and fieldwork environment with frequent facility walkthroughs.

Compensation:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. Pay within the provided range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related skills and experience. Pay Range
$100,000 - $160,000 USD
