About the Team:
At SK hynix, our team's dedication to advancing enterprise SSD technologies through rigorous PCIe NVMe validation and testing has established us as industry leaders. Our focus on system-level tests, feature validation, and meticulous bug analysis underpins the reliability of our products. With expertise in testing and debugging embedded systems, we ensure that our enterprise PCIe NVMe SSD products meet the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and conduct comprehensive test and validation plans for PCIe and NVMe enterprise solid-state drives (eSSDs). Implement coordinated efforts to debug and resolve eSSD issues and system issues.
- Oversee the progress of testing and validating, identify potential issues, ensure compliance with design specifications, as well as with customer standards and requirements.
- Collaborate closely with other teams, including SOC, FW, HW, SQA, CAE, and FAE, to address and resolve product challenges.
- Understand industry spec and customers spec, perform test gap analysis to ensure seamless integration and reliability.
- Foster open communication channels to facilitate efficient problem-solving and enhance the overall product quality.
- Provide customer support. Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining clear communication and prompt responses.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Proficient in PCIe, NVMe, OCP, NVMe-MI, and/or SMBus protocols.
- Proficient in programming languages such as python, C/C++, etc.
- 3+ years of storage-related experience.
- Experience with bus analyzers and trace evaluation tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Linux Kernel and drivers is a plus.
- Strong understanding of SSD and storage architectures is a plus.
- Strong failure analysis and system-level debugging skill is preferred.
- Experience with Embedded firmware
- Experience with lab equipment and tools.
COMPENSATION: $110,000/yr - $175,000/yr

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be tailored based on several factors, including the location, job grade, relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. We also take into account the internal equity among our current team members to ensure fairness and competitiveness.
