About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Group Practice Administrator to lead the daily operations of our thriving mobile wound care practice in Playa Vista. Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Building:

    • Cultivate a positive and supportive work environment that fosters collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care.
    • Mentor, coach, and develop team members, providing regular feedback and opportunities for professional growth.
    • Effectively delegate tasks and responsibilities to optimize team performance.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution:

    • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans to achieve company goals and drive practice growth.
    • Identify opportunities for service enhancement and expansion.
    • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Operational Excellence:

    • Oversee all aspects of daily practice operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
    • Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and optimize resource utilization.
  • Financial Management:

    • Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

 

  • Project Management:

    • Lead and manage key projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to objectives.
    • Effectively allocate resources and track progress towards project milestones.
    • Proactively identify and mitigate potential project risks.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance:

    • Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant healthcare regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and standards.
    • Possess a strong understanding of medical malpractice and experience in handling related matters.
    • Implement quality assurance programs to monitor and improve patient care outcomes.
    • Stay abreast of industry best practices and implement innovative solutions to enhance service delivery.

Facility Management:

    • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the practice location in Playa Vista, including maintaining the facility in accordance with all applicable state and federal healthcare regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Customer Service:

    • Provide exceptional customer service to physicians, nursing home staff, and other stakeholders, building strong relationships and ensuring their needs are met. 

Process Improvement & Standardization: 

    • Develop, implement, and continuously refine standardized operating procedures and protocols to ensure efficient, consistent, and high-quality patient care and administrative operations. This includes meticulous attention to detail in the creation and implementation of these procedures.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Prior experience working within a tissue laboratory is required.
  • 3+ years of experience managing a medical practice, preferably in a wound care or related setting.
  • Demonstrated experience with legal malpractice cases.
  • Proven track record of success in leading and motivating teams.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations, financial management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure in challenging circumstances.
