VP of Revenue Cycle
Ready to lead the financial future of Skilled Wound Care? Skilled Wound Care is looking for a strategic VP of Revenue Cycle Management to join our team in Playa Vista. As a premier physician group specializing in nursing home care, we need a powerhouse leader to own our entire revenue lifecycle—from patient authorization to final reimbursement.
The Mission:
You will be the architect of our financial health. Your goal is to eliminate friction in billing, crush claim denials, and leverage AI-driven automation to maximize our collections.
What You’ll Do:
- Strategic Vision: Design enterprise-wide systems that capture every dollar and plug financial leaks.
- Full-Cycle Oversight: Own everything from patient registration and coding to A/R management.
- Denial Defense: Analyze payer trends to proactively reduce and manage claim denials.
- Tech Innovation: Implement cutting-edge AI and automation tools to keep us ahead of the curve.
- Compliance Leadership: Keep us bulletproof regarding CMS, HIPAA, and payer contracts.
Leadership & Staff Development
- Team Management: Recruit, train, mentor, and effectively manage all staff within the Revenue Cycle department, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment.
- Performance Management: Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide coaching, and manage any necessary disciplinary actions to maintain high standards of accountability and productivity.
- Mentorship: Serve as the subject matter expert, guiding team members in complex claims resolution, coding questions, and difficult payer negotiations.
What You Bring:
- Extensive leadership experience in Revenue Cycle Management.
- Expert-level knowledge of billing software, coding regulations, and payer relations.
- Strong Medicare knowledge.
- Experience with billing across multiple states.
- A data-driven leadership style with the ability to bridge the gap between clinical and financial teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certification (e.g., HFMA, AAPC, AHIMA).
Salary: $150,000-$200,000 DOE
