Patient Eligibility Verification Specialist
Description
The Patient Eligibility Verification Specialist is primarily responsible for ensuring that all verification of patient insurance benefits are done in a timely manner. An eligibility clerk must be able to handle multiple tasks and be well organized to process many cases.

Qualifications
- 1 year of Healthcare Insurance Verification required.
- Basic office skills and computer literacy required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform patient insurance eligibility and benefit checks via web portal or telephone call with applicable insurance to determine exclusions and benefits.
- Update patient demographics to ensure that patient’s name and insurance details are correct.
- Conduct all assigned job duties in a timely and productive manner.
- Stay current with relevant insurance guidelines and policies.
- Work well with others in the spirit of teamwork and cooperation is a must.
- Complete other duties as assigned by Manager.
