Skin Laundry is seeking a Payroll Specialist. This individual possesses a strong understanding of Federal and State laws pertaining to labor, payroll taxes and benefits and is responsible for payroll processing. Works closely with Senior Management, Accounting, and People Team to ensure company-wide compliance to policy and mandated laws.

Location: We will only be accepting applications for those based in (CO,TX,AZ,NV)

This position is subject to a pre-employment background check.

Schedule: Due to the nature of payroll, employees may need to work on a weekend / holiday basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily tracking of timecard punches with clinic locations
  • Daily tracking of time off requests with people leaders
  • Update payroll changes with the Namely system
  • Process bi-weekly/semi-monthly multi-state payroll/off-cycle payroll as needed
  • Process tips and commissions for hourly staff as needed
  • Support payroll/accounting initiatives and projects
  • Review commissions and tips report for accuracy
  • Calculate guarantees according to employee compensation structure
  • Process final pays in ordinance with local entities
  • Set up employees requesting reimbursement in Brex
  • Research and resolve payroll issues as needed
  • Audit and maintenance of 401K changes
  • Maintain double time rate that are consistent with employee’s base pay

                                                                                                                                                         

Education and Experience:

  • Effective organizational and time management skills with a strong ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and team skills
  • Proficient computer skills and advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with Namely or a combination of multiple payroll platforms
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of Payroll administration experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Business Administration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with various departments and external auditors
