Licensed Practical Nurse(LPN) - Bellevue, WA
Job Summary:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play a critical role in supporting healthcare providers by delivering efficient and compassionate patient care. Your responsibilities include accurately assessing patient needs, coordinating the appropriate course of action, effectively communicating with healthcare providers, and conveying their instructions to patients. Your professionalism and nursing expertise are essential in ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of care.
Essential Functions:

- Open and close the triage queue at designated times as determined by management.
- Answer and respond promptly to incoming phone calls, and monitor both the refill and patient queues for messages.
- Gather detailed patient information, including symptoms and current medical conditions.
- Assess whether a patient requires immediate care, and determine the appropriate timing and provider for such care.
- Accurately document medical advice given and the patient’s response in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Create detailed telephone encounter notes or actions, capturing all pertinent information as communicated by the patient.
- Refill medications in accordance with provider-specific protocols and document all actions in the EMR.
- Monitor the patient portal and respond promptly to incoming messages.
- Assist with the completion of prescription prior authorizations.
- Schedule appointments within the practice and with external providers as directed by the healthcare team.
- Communicate lab and pathology results to patients in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other staff members and healthcare providers to address patient concerns effectively.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Valid LPN license
- Current CPR certification
Education:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN); a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Pay:
$30-$35/hr
