The Role

To support Skyloom’s production of optical communication terminals, the Program Manager’s primary responsibilities will be to oversee all aspects of designated technical and production programs including budgeting, scheduling, resource management, and communications. You will work closely with multidisciplinary project teams across our organization to ensure timely completion of objectives and identify any potential obstacles. This position would report to the CTO – Santiago Tempone.

As a Program Manager, you will carry significant responsibility for coordinating other teammates’ efforts and the timely success or failure of specific projects. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Develop and manage project timelines and goals
  • Prepare documentation for both customers and executive management
  • Quick identification and reporting of deviations of project
  • Coordination of teams working on project
  • Able to communicate with both internal and external customers
  • Support the implementation of hardware to support development of project, including disbursement of resources as needed.

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or project management
  • Experience troubleshooting complex projects with many moving parts
  • Ability to work in an interdisciplinary and international environment
  • Able to be responsive to real-time priority shifts in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Teamwork spirit

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Spanish speaking a plus
  • Experience translating user specification to requirements
  • Aerospace and defense industry knowledge
  • Interest in growing your skillset as part of our international team

 

Compensation 

The approximate base salary range for this position is $123,792 - $152,000. The total compensation package includes base, bonus, equity, and a range of benefit options found on our career site.   

Compensation will vary based on individual factors such as education, qualifications and experience of the final candidate(s), specific office location and calibration against relevant market data and internal team equity.  Posted base salary figures are subject to change as new market data becomes available.
