About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and research-driven Humanitarian Aid/Sustainability Intern to join our growing team. This role will play a critical part in supporting real-time decision-making by conducting research across humanitarian aid initiatives, sustainable technology, environmental policy, and international development efforts.
This internship is ideal for someone passionate about global impact, has a curious mind, and thrives under self-direction in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment. This is a fast-paced position that requires the ability to conduct and complete research efficiently. The role is on-site for 40 hours per week, with no overtime. Depending on experience $20-$24/Hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough, real-time research on humanitarian aid efforts, global sustainability practices, policy trends, and emerging technologies.
- Summarize and present findings to the CEO through memos, briefings, or presentations.
- Assist in identifying organizations, partners, and projects aligned with the company's long-term mission.
- Track and evaluate metrics around environmental impact, sustainable operations, and social responsibility.
- Support planning and logistics for potential pilot initiatives or outreach programs.
- Maintain organized digital records of all research and communications.
- Stay up to date with evolving global humanitarian and ESG trends.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in International Relations, Sustainability, Public Policy, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Excellent research, writing, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Professional demeanor and discretion when communicating with executive leadership.
- Passion for humanitarian causes and environmental innovation.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with data visualization tools or creating briefings/presentations.
- Familiarity with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) frameworks.
- Background in non-profit work, international development, or social impact.
