About the Role:

At SkySafe, we're passionate about building innovative solutions that push boundaries and solve complex problems in the UAS space. We're looking for an experienced Office Manager to join our growing team and serve as the operational backbone of our San Diego headquarters. This role reports directly to the CEO and requires someone who can seamlessly manage both administrative responsibilities and hands-on logistics operations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle diverse responsibilities from executive support to warehouse operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day office operations and ensure smooth administrative processes across all departments
  • Manage vendor relationships, office supply procurement, and facility management including maintenance and security
  • Maintain an engaging and productive physical workspace to encourage in-person collaboration and morale
  • Monitor employee feedback and suggest initiatives to improve the in-office experience and reinforce SkySafe’s identity
  • Assist in planning and execution of company-wide events, managing vendors, budgets, and schedules
  • Act as culture ambassador, fostering a welcoming and inclusive office environment aligned with company values
  • Support cross-functional collaboration and team cohesion through small group gatherings, recognition initiatives, and office rituals
  • Provide direct administrative support to the Executive Leadership Team, including but not limited to travel arrangements, meeting preparation, calendar management
  • Assist with shipping and logistics operations, including domestic and international shipping coordination, regulations, and documentation
  • Support warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, packaging, and shipping of products and equipment
  • Support HR functions including onboarding new employees

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of office management or administrative experience
  • Startup experience
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to work independently
  • Shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations experience
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, managing SaaS tools and licenses
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in warehouse environment as needed

  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software, or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry. Salary is just one part of our total compensation package that includes equity, perks & benefits, and development opportunities at SkySafe. Individual pay decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity relative to other SkySafers.

Salary Range

$70,000 - $90,000 USD
