Who we are looking for:
Slate is looking for an energetic, organized, and experienced Integration Engineer to join our growing team. An Integration Engineer plays a critical role in designing and implementing data & application integrations between corporate systems to be efficient and aligned with business requirements. The Integration Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining systems integrations across the enterprise iPaaS platform. The ideal candidate will bring experience with integration designs & methods, strong collaboration skills, and a broad understanding of typical automotive & corporate processes.
What you get to do:
- Designing and implementing system integrations: This includes gathering requirements, analyzing user needs and system requirements, and developing integration strategies.
- Developing and executing test cases: Ensuring the functionality and performance of the system integration.
- Troubleshooting integration issues: Identifying and resolving integration and deployment issues.
- Collaborating with other professionals: Working with business SMEs and IT staff to optimize system integration.
- Documenting integration processes: Creating technical documentation and analyzing existing systems and databases.
- Monitoring system performance: Making necessary changes and updates post-integration.
- Providing technical support: Ensuring that integrations comply with company standards and industry regulation
What you bring to the team:
- Technical proficiency: Familiarity with various integration methodologies, system architecture, and application programming. Deep technical knowledge of iPaaS platforms (i.e., Fuuz, Boomi, Celigo), APIs, JSON, JSonata, XML, batch file processing, integration orchestration & choreography, EDI. Working knowledge of C++ or Java is helpful but not required.
- Problem-solving skills: Ability to troubleshoot and provide rapid solutions.
- Communication skills: Effective communication with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
- Documentation skills: Ability to create thorough documentation for integration processes
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Bachelor’s Degree: Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Five years of experience in integration implementations
