Who we are looking for:
The EHSS Program Manager, Enterprise Training is responsible for leading the strategic development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Environmental, Health, Safety, & Security (EHSS) training programs across the enterprise. This role plays a critical part in ensuring manufacturing readiness by owning and delivering comprehensive new hire EHSS onboarding and technical training. As the organization grows, this position will expand to oversee scalable, enterprise-wide EHSS training initiatives that support compliance, operational excellence, and a strong safety culture.

- Enterprise Training Strategy: Develop and execute a long-term EHSS training roadmap aligned with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and operational needs.
- New Hire Onboarding: Own and deliver the EHSS component of new hire onboarding across manufacturing sites, ensuring consistent, high-quality orientation.
- Manufacturing Readiness: Design and implement technical training programs that prepare employees for safe and effective performance in manufacturing environments.
- Program Development: Lead the creation of standardized, role-specific training modules for EHSS topics, including ergonomics, chemical safety, machine safety, and emergency response.
- Digital Learning & Innovation: Develop engaging digital learning content using eLearning tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate) and integrate multimedia, simulations, and assessments.
- Training Delivery: Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions across shifts and locations, adapting delivery methods to meet diverse learner needs.
- LMS Oversight: Manage enterprise-wide EHSS learning management system (LMS) content, course assignments, and training metrics reporting.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure training programs meet OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards. Maintain accurate records and audit readiness.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with HR, Operations, and EHSS teams to assess training needs, align initiatives, and support continuous improvement.
- Metrics & Evaluation: Monitor training effectiveness through feedback, performance data, and incident trends. Use insights to refine content and delivery.
What you bring to the team:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field is required. Advanced degree is preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years in EHSS training or program management, with a strong background in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Certifications: Industry certifications (e.g., CSP, CHMM, OSHA Outreach Trainer, etc.) are highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of EHSS regulations and best practices.
- Proven ability to lead enterprise-wide training initiatives.
- Expertise in instructional design and adult learning principles.
- Proficiency in eLearning development tools and LMS platforms.
- Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and building safe, sustainable manufacturing systems.
- Highly adaptable and proactive, excelling in fast-paced start-up and new model launch environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Working Conditions and Environment:
- Office-based with frequent visits to manufacturing sites for training delivery and needs assessment.
- Must have the ability to travel, both domestic and international (up to 25%).
Physical Requirements:
- Must have the ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
- Must have the ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- May involve standing, walking, and demonstrating safety procedures in operational settings.
