Who we are looking for:
Slate is looking for an energetic, organized, and experienced Integration Engineer to join our growing team. An Integration Lead plays a critical role in designing and managing data & application integrations between corporate systems in alignment with business requirements and established architecture patterns. This role ensures seamless interoperability between platforms, applications, and services, supporting the Slate’s operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring experience with integration designs & methods, program management, strong collaboration skills, and a broad understanding of typical automotive & corporate processes.
What You Get to Do:
- Leadership: Lead and manage end-to-end integration projects and system enhancements. Mentor junior developers and contribute to team development.
- Strategy: Develop and implement strategic integration plans focused on scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure system compatibility and alignment with business goals.
- Technical Support: Resolve integration issues and provide technical support and troubleshooting.
- Documentation: Maintain documentation of integration processes, architecture, and configurations.
- Technology Fit: Evaluate and recommend integration tools, platforms, and technologies.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and regulatory standards.
What Your Bring to the Team:
- Technical proficiency: Familiarity with various integration methodologies, system architecture, and application programming. Deep technical knowledge of iPaaS platforms (i.e., Fuuz, Boomi, Celigo), APIs, JSON, JSonata, XML, batch file processing, integration orchestration & choreography, EDI.
- Data Architecture & Design is a plus.
- Problem-solving skills: Ability to troubleshoot and provide rapid solutions.
- Communication skills: Effective communication with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
- Documentation skills: Ability to create thorough documentation for integration processes
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Bachelor’s Degree: Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 8-10 years of experience in integration implementations
