You’ll be part of a lean, high‑impact treasury team shaping the financial backbone of a rapidly scaling automaker. You’ll have visibility to senior leadership, ownership over key treasury processes, and the opportunity to build best‑in‑class practices from the ground up.
What you get to do:

- Own daily cash positioning and bank account reconciliations.
- Partner with AP and Accounting to investigate and resolve bank transaction discrepancies.
- Support the automation of cash reporting and reconciliation processes.
- Working Capital & Forecasting
- Maintain and improve Slate’s short‑term and long‑term cash and working capital forecasts.
- Collaborate with FP&A, AP, and operational teams to improve forecast accuracy.
- Bank Relationship Management
- Serve as a primary contact for routine KYC and bank compliance requests.
- Coordinate account maintenance, signatory updates, and documentation.
- Credit Facility Management
- Manage the day‑to‑day administration of Slate’s lines of credit, including borrowing base tracking, draw requests, and compliance reporting.
- Monitor covenant compliance and prepare related reporting.
- Treasury Governance & Policy
- Help operationalize the forthcoming revision of Slate’s Treasury Policy, ensuring compliance and supporting regular updates.
- Prepare materials for Treasury Committee meetings, track follow‑ups, and document decisions.
- Payments Oversight
- Review and approve payments in accordance with approval matrices.
- Serve as a back‑up release approver for high‑value payments.
- Supplier Credit Analysis
- Conduct manual credit quality analyses for suppliers when automated screening tools are incomplete or inconclusive.
- Maintain a supplier credit risk database and provide recommendations to Purchasing and Legal.
What you bring to the team:
- 5+ years of treasury or banking experience, preferably in a capital‑intensive industry.
- Strong knowledge of cash management, bank reconciliation, and working capital forecasting.
- Familiarity with credit facilities, covenant compliance, and treasury policy frameworks.
- Proficiency with treasury workstations, ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), and Excel‑based modeling.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a proactive, hands‑on approach.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively across finance, operations, and banking partners.
- Comfortable in a fast‑paced, growth‑stage environment with evolving processes and priorities.
