| WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Head of Commercial Projects is a strategic leader responsible for driving cross-functional Commercial initiatives, supporting executive decision-making, and managing high-impact projects that span internal teams and external partners. This role requires coordination, analytical rigor, project leadership, and the ability to synthesize insights across functions to inform strategy and execution.
| WHAT YOU GET TO DO
Lead & Coordinate Strategic Projects:
- Drive commercial and special projects, especially those that are cross-functional or lack a dedicated owner.
- Manage projects with external stakeholders/partners that intersect multiple commercial functions.
Analytical Support & Problem Solving:
- Provide analytical support for decision-making and problem-solving, especially for the Commercial team and executive leadership.
- Respond to unexpected challenges with structured, data-driven solutions.
Team Leadership:
- Oversee and mentor a team of analysts, ensuring high-quality output and professional growth.
Reporting & Insights:
- Synthesize business intelligence, persona data, and market insights to inform commercial strategy.
- Own or coordinate executive and operational reporting for commercial performance, including dashboards and KPI tracking.
Commercial Operations Support:
- Support org planning, milestone management, and leadership report synthesis.
- Fill gaps in commercial team operations as needed, including market research, regulatory analysis, and partnership coordination.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across all company functions.
- Represent the commercial team in cross-functional forums and with external partners.
| WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
- 10+ years' experience in commercial operations, strategy, or project management within a high-growth environments.
- Highly structured, analytical approach to problem solving and project management.
- Quick learner able to ramp up on new topics (e.g., battery costing, dealer law).
- Ability to synthesize information across functions and communicate clearly and concisely.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality output under tight deadlines.
- Experience managing or mentoring analysts or junior team members.
- Familiarity with executive-level decision-making and reporting.
- Experience with external partnership management.
- Comfort with ambiguity and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving organization.
