About the Role
We are seeking an **Analytics Engineer** to join our data team, focusing on building and maintaining scalable, efficient, and reliable data transformation pipelines. You will work primarily with **DBT Cloud** and **Snowflake** to expand our transformation codebase, ensure data consistency, and create new data marts to empower analytics across the organization. You will also collaborate closely with business stakeholders to create impactful reports in **Sigma** and deliver advanced analytics to answer key business questions.
What you'll do
- Develop, optimize, and maintain transformation workflows in DBT Cloud for our Snowflake data warehouse
- Expand and refactor the transformation codebase to improve efficiency, scalability, and data quality
- Ensure data consistency, reliability, and continuity across all data marts and datasets
- Design and implement new data marts to simplify analytics and support business needs
- Collaborate with business users to build and maintain impactful Sigma dashboards and reports
- Implement tests to ensure data quality and proactively catch anomalies
- Perform advanced analytics and ad-hoc data investigations to support decision making
- Document data models, transformation logic, and analytics solutions for transparency and maintainability
- Monitor data pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
What You Bring To The Role
- Previous as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, Data Analyst, or similar role
- Knowledge of best practices in data orchestration & transformation pipelines
- High proficiency in SQL and data modeling best practices
- Experience building or maintaining BI dashboards
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have
- Strong hands-on experience with DBT Cloud and Snowflake in a production environment
- Experience with Sigma BI specifically
- Experience with version control (Git), workflow orchestration, and CI/CD processes
- Familiarity with Python for data analysis and automation
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Experience with data governance, testing, and monitoring frameworks

Compensation Range
Base Salary Range: $150,000.00 -165,000.00 annually. Note that final compensation is subject to the candidate’s specific qualifications and location, as well as the needs of the company. This position is eligible to participate in the company's bonus program.
The Company currently provides medical, vision, and dental insurance and 100% of the employee medical, vision, and dental premiums covered by the Company. There is an option to participate in both a medical FSA and dependent care FSA. We offer a 401(k) plan, with fully matching contributions up to 3% of salary and 50% matching from 3% to 5% of salary. There is a company paid life-insurance policy, and the option to participate in a voluntary pet-insurance policy. You will be eligible for Paid Time Off in accordance with the company’s policies. Our Seattle-based employees will receive commuter benefits.
