
Territory Sales Manager - Commercial Residential

Slide is looking to add a results-driven Commercial Residential Territory Sales Manager. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, cultivating long-term relationships, and consistently meeting or exceeding revenue goals. Your ability to understand market trends, identify opportunities, and deliver exceptional customer service will play a key role in driving sustainable business growth.
What you will do in this position:
- Achieve new business, written premium and loss ratio goals by effectively managing assigned portfolio of insurance agencies via in person sales calls.
- Analyze sales statistics to assist agency distribution in reaching business growth potential.
- Collaborate with internal departments to develop strategic sales plan for assigned agency distribution.
- Negotiate and monitor yearly new business commitments to reach individual assigned plan.
- Increases agency engagement by improving the percentage of quoting and producing agencies within assigned portfolio.
- Gather competitive intelligence, analyzes the company's position, and recommends appropriate course of action.
- Monitor the performance of markets (revenue, profit, and membership) and adapt priorities accordingly.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
What you bring to the position:
Education, Experience and Licensing Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of a High School diploma and pertinent work experience is required.
- 5+ years of experience in the P&C insurance industry required.
- 3+ years of Florida Commercial Residential sales experience
- Active Florida 2-20 General Lines Insurance License required.
- Professional Insurance Designations such as CPCU, CIC, is preferred.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies
- Proven knowledge of the property & casualty insurance industry, its products and services.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on excellent customer service.
- Ability to effectively interact with both internal and external business partners.
- Ability to analyze sales driven data and develop sales strategies with supporting data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to make presentations to internal and external groups.
- Solid time management skills with a demonstrated ability to work independently, effectively prioritize schedule and multi-task to meet business objectives.
- Proven ability of how to position products against competitors.
- Proficient in other MSO/365 applications such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
