Contact Center Team Lead - Homeowners Insurance

What you will be doing:
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for customer issues unresolved by representatives. 
  • Function as liaison between contact center and other departments to address technical challenges. 
  • Resolve complex or high-priority issues promptly, balancing customer satisfaction and compliance to company policies. 
  • Assist in tracking and monitoring team performance metrics, including response times and resolutions rates. 
  • Coordinate and oversee break and lunch schedules for the representatives. 
  • Provide subject matter expertise to support and guide representatives. 
  • Assist in onboarding and training new employees, ensuring they understand company policies, systems, and customer service best practices. 
  • Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities within departmental call flows. 
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries to ensure timely and effective service. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 
What you have:
Education, Experience, and Licensing:
  • Bachelor's degree or High school diploma and equivalent experience required.
  • 3 + years of experience in a Contact or Call Center environment required.
  • 20-44 license required
  • Homeowners experience preferred
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
  • Capability to guide and inspire a team of customer service representatives
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to be adaptable and flexible; able to adjust to new requirements or unforeseen issues.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to think critically and objectively.
  • Proficient in MSO/365 applications such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Desire to live Slide's Core Values.
