Inside Sales Specialist

What you will be doing:
- Achieve new business, written premium and loss ratio goals by effectively managing assigned portfolio of insurance agencies.
- Deliver Slide's value proposition to potential agencies and principals.
- Increase agency engagement by improving the percentage of quoting and producing agencies within assigned portfolio.
- Develop and foster strong business relationships with all clients.
- Manage onboarding of newly appointed agents to include initial prospecting, appointing, training, and business goal planning.
- Conduct training for assigned agents on Slide's underwriting guidelines, procedures, programs, website, and web rater.
- Identify agency training/product information needs and communicate needs to Agency Services.
- Leverage subject matter expertise from the functional areas to identify cost and trend drivers and recommend potential solutions.
- Collaborate with internal departments to assist in the development of a strategic sales plan for assigned agency distribution.
- Report essential product and change information based on agent feedback to appropriate internal partners.
- Complete timely update of entries and reports, detailed submission of regular call reports and proper documentation for agency management.
- Monitor the performance of markets and gather competitive intelligence to recommend appropriate adjustments to Slide's positioning of products.
- Participate in rate reviews and product development projects.
- Attend and participate in industry related classes to stay up to date on trends and industry changes.
- Maintain the integrity of Slide by complying with federal and state regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
Education, Experience and Licensing Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or High School diploma and equivalent work experience required.
- 2+ years of sales experience required; Inside Sales experience preferred.
- Some Homeowner's P&C insurance experience preferred.

- Exceptional time management skills with ability to prioritize tasks and allocate resources efficiently.
- Proven ability to be adaptable and flexible; able to adjust to new requirements or unforeseen issues.
- Proficient in MSO/365 applications such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
