Human Resources Business Partner

The Human Resource Business Partner is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with management supporting all business units. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, recruiting, onboarding, policy implementation, performance management and compliance. |
Primary duties / responsibilities |
Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures |
Leads recruiting efforts by sourcing candidates, pre-screening, scheduling interviews, collaborating with college and recruiting agency partners to fill open positions. |
Is the employee’s main point of contact for benefit enrollment, claims resolution, change reporting, and communicating benefit information to employees.. |
Work in conjunction with the Senior leadership team to identify and implement desired core competencies needed to develop organizational objectives. |
Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment. |
Provides HR partnership through consultative support and guidance to managers and employees for development through training and/or seminars. |
Analyze and interpret business organization(s) needs in order to make program improvement recommendations. Leverage best practices, identify opportunities for efficiencies, and implement solutions. |
Responsible for leave of absence claims and reporting. |
Develops and implement employee engagement programs. |
Processes human resources reports as needed. |
Other duties as may be required or assigned. |
Required training (type / duration / field / additional training) |
A bachelor’s degree preferably in Human Resources. A minimum of 5 years’ human resource experience. |
Required relevant professional experience (type / duration) |
Additional Eligibility Qualifications (preferred but not required): SHRM-CP, PHR, or PHR-CA certification. |
Other specialized skills |
Expert knowledge of human resource and business acumen is required. Advanced Knowledge of employment laws and their applications is required. Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) is strongly preferred. Ability to maintain confidentiality in a variety of situations. This position may require periodic domestic and international travel. |
Additional Information:
- Compensation: $82,000 - $108,000 annually
