We are seeking an IT Manager with 4+ years of experience to lead and manage all aspects of our IT infrastructure and support services. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience with IT management in a fast-paced startup environment, and a passion for problem-solving and driving efficiency. This role will require hands-on involvement with hardware and software systems, network security, and providing IT support to employees both in our HQ and practices.

What you’ll do

  • IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our internal IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud services, and hardware.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to employees, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure the security and integrity of the company’s IT systems by managing firewalls, encryption, backups, and cybersecurity protocols. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and compliance standards.Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party IT vendors and service providers, ensuring high-quality service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  • System Optimization: Continuously assess and improve IT systems to increase performance, security, and scalability.
  • Asset Management: Manage the lifecycle of hardware and software assets, including procurement, setup, and disposal.
  • Collaboration with Other Teams: Work closely with the engineering and operations teams to support infrastructure needs for product development, deployment, and maintenance.Collaborate closely with the Vice President of Data and Technology regarding the IT budget and project roadmaps.
  • Disaster Recovery & Backup: Implement and manage disaster recovery plans, ensuring business continuity in the event of a system failure or data loss.

Who You Are

  • 4+ years of hands-on IT management experience, preferably in a fast-paced startup or technology-driven environment.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, systems administration, cloud platforms (Okta, AWS, Mosyle, Google Workspace, Slack, Intercom, Fresh Service), and IT security best practices.
  • Proven experience in managing hardware and software infrastructure, including Windows and macOS environments, virtualization technologies, network management, account provisioning, Single-Sign-On (SSO), mobile device management (MDM), Identity and Access Management (IAM).
  • Experience with cybersecurity tools, risk assessments, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to ensure IT needs align with company goals and growth.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred but not required).

$110,000 - $140,000 USD
