Senior Account Executive / Account Supervisor, Consumer Lifestyle
Small Girls PR is seeking a Senior Account Executive (3-4 years of experience) or Account Supervisor (5-6 years of experience) who has developed strong media relationships and has a track record of success securing meaningful placements. This role will support higher-level client communications for projects, lead call and meeting efforts for the team and participate in strategy discussions both behind-the-scenes and with clients in the consumer lifestyle space.
There is no one-size-fits-all for an SGPR client which means your career will be further enriched with meaningful and diversified experience. We've handled mergers for GE, announced Esusu as one of the first Black-owned tech unicorns, launched paranormal investigations with Ring doorbells, created a closet calculator to see how recycled clothing impacts the environment with thredUP, and hired the Green M&M as Zappos’ newest “shoefluencer” when the spokescandy was put on hiatus due to her boots controversy.
Note: This role will be based in our LA office on a hybrid schedule (two days weekly in-office).
How you’ll make an impact:
- Work along-side client leads to contribute ideas towards viral campaign moments, and then bring them to life
- Craft creative pitch angles that position clients uniquely from their competitor set and yield 20 - 100 placements per campaign idea
- Write pitches, fact sheets, media briefs, press releases and more with ease to provide media everything they need to garner killer coverage
- Establish and maintain warm relationships with consumer media in print, digital, podcast, and broadcast, leading to regular placements as well as feature stories.
- Help us develop strategies and relationships to earn placements in social media channels, like Hypebeast’s TikTok
- Mentor our strong and capable junior team, helping them flourish into future leaders

Qualifications:
- You have at least 3-6 years of relevant experience (agency experience or fast-paced startup background preferred) ideally within the food & bev or CPG space
- You’re intellectually curious and a natural storyteller
- You’ve already secured top-tier press placements and have the clips to prove it
- You’re a skilled writer, who crafts pitches and copy with clarity and cleverness
- You love forging relationships with media, colleagues and clients
- You’re comfortable leading client calls and providing a first pass at providing strategic counsel
- You’re a creative thinker who isn’t afraid to take a risk or push the envelope
- Your passion for error-free work; you double-check every detail and spot a typo a mile away
