DevOps Engineer - Test Hub

You'll be joining a globally distributed team with engineers in Bengaluru, Poland, Ireland, and the United States. We're a highly collaborative group at various skill levels — we invest in each other's growth, enjoy solving hard problems together, and don't take ourselves too seriously while doing it. If you want to deepen your technical expertise in cloud-native engineering while working with a team that genuinely values curiosity and good humour, you'll fit right in.

About the Role

We're looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to join a highly collaborative, globally distributed engineering team. You'll own cloud infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and operational reliability — partnering closely with development and product teams across Bengaluru, Poland, Ireland, and the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions — covering build, test, security scanning, and multi-environment deployments for web applications throughout their full lifecycle.
  • Provision and manage scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS (primary) and Azure using Terraform; architect greenfield environments following IaC best practices.
  • Deploy, configure, and operate containerized workloads on Kubernetes using Helm charts; manage cluster lifecycle, namespaces, RBAC, and networking policies.
  • Build and maintain Docker images and container registries; enforce image security scanning and vulnerability remediation within the pipeline.
  • Develop automation scripts and tooling in Python and Bash to reduce toil, enforce consistency, and support development teams across the organization.
  • Instrument applications and infrastructure with observability tooling (metrics, logs, traces) to ensure system health visibility and enable proactive incident detection.
  • Lead and participate in incident response — from detection and triage through root-cause analysis and post-incident review — driving continuous reliability improvements.
  • Collaborate with Development, Product, and Support teams to build high-availability processes and translate non-functional requirements into operational reality.
  • Author clear, maintainable documentation for all systems, runbooks, and processes across internal and external applications.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 3–5 years of experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE role in a cloud-native environment.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, Route 53, CloudWatch) and a working knowledge of Azure.
  • Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code; experience structuring reusable modules and managing remote state.
  • Strong GitHub Actions experience — writing custom workflows, reusable actions, matrix builds, and environment-gated deployments.
  • Solid Kubernetes skills: deployments, services, ingress, config/secrets management, resource limits, HPA, and cluster troubleshooting.
  • Experience packaging and deploying applications with Helm; authoring and customizing Helm charts.
  • Proficiency with Docker — multi-stage builds, layer optimization, and container security practices.
  • Practical scripting in Python and Bash for automation, tooling, and operational tasks.
  • Experience with observability platforms (e.g. Datadog, Prometheus/Grafana, CloudWatch, or equivalent) — dashboards, alerting, SLOs/SLIs.
  • Demonstrated experience in on-call and incident response — clear triage process, effective communication, and blameless post-mortems.
  • Strong command of git, branching strategies, and source-code management workflows.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with CloudFormation or Ansible alongside Terraform.
  • Familiarity with Rancher for Kubernetes cluster management.
  • Experience with SonarQube, Nexus, or similar quality/artefact management tools.
  • Exposure to FinOps practices — tagging strategies, cost allocation, and cloud spend optimization.
  • Familiarity with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd) or advanced networking patterns
