Role
SmarterDx is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to join our growing organization and provide oversight on initiatives being led by the Customer Success team.
Most of our day-to-day customers are clinical documentation improvement specialists and coders at US health systems. Supporting their work is an essential component of what we do at SmarterDx, and in this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and providing progress updates on internal projects according to the Customer Success team’s near and long-term priorities.
You will partner with Customer Success leads to define project objectives and oversee delivery and updates throughout each project’s life cycle. A key aspect of this role involves providing clear, concise, and timely updates to executive stakeholders and proactively escalating delays and roadblocks.
**This role is fully remote within the US, preferably working Central or Eastern business hours**
What You’ll Do
- Effectively communicate project expectations to Customer Success team members and executive stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
- Partner with Customer Success leads to define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
- Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
- Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management
- Conduct project post mortems and document a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
- Prepare and deliver regular, concise, and impactful project updates to CS leadership
- Highlight key achievements, risks, and challenges, along with proposed solutions
- Ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned on project status and strategic direction
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing cross-functional projects or 10+ years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
- Experience with implementing and building project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Churn Zero, Microsoft Project)
- Experience at a startup or fast-paced company; ability to move fast and adapt quickly with minimal supervision
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
- Comfortable engaging with and providing reports and recommendations to executive leadership
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Compensation
$120,000 - $140,000 salary
