Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, strategic, and execution-focused Director, Sales Special Projects to serve as a trusted partner to our Head of Sales. This role blends Chief of Staff responsibilities with strategic project management, helping to keep the sales organization aligned, efficient, and focused on growth. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in health tech and/or revenue cycle management, a track record of supporting sales leadership, and the ability to deliver on high-priority initiatives with precision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Chief of Staff to Chief Growth Officer
    • Act as a thought partner and advisor to the Chief Growth Officer, ensuring priorities are aligned and executed.
    • Prepare agendas, materials, and insights for leadership meetings, QBRs, board updates, and strategic planning sessions.
    • Drive follow-ups on critical action items across the sales leadership team.
  • Organizational Alignment & Communication
    • Serve as a central hub for sales team coordination, ensuring consistent messaging and effective communication across functions.
    • Build frameworks for accountability and follow-through on strategic initiatives.
    • Support onboarding and enablement programs in partnership with sales enablement leaders.

  • Strategic Projects & Sales Operations
    • Lead cross-functional special projects on behalf of Chief Growth Officer
    • Partner with Sales Ops and Enablement to identify bottlenecks, streamline processes, and accelerate deal velocity.
    • Design and track KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to provide visibility into pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and performance.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 8–12 years of progressive experience in sales strategy, operations, business management, or consulting, ideally in healthcare technology or revenue cycle management.
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of RCM, healthcare provider systems, and health tech trends.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.
    • Strong executive presence and ability to influence across levels.
    • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in Salesforce (or equivalent CRM), Excel/Google Sheets, and reporting tools.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership: Experience managing cross-functional projects and aligning diverse stakeholders.
  • Mindset: Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
