Cross-Channel Planner
We're looking for a strategic and collaborative Cross-Channel Planner to help bridge paid social and programmatic strategy. This person will ensure alignment across platforms, collaborate with marketing science, and work closely with clients to drive cohesive, data-informed media planning and execution.
As a Cross-Channel Partner at Smartly, you will...
- Own and co-develop cohesive media strategy plans that bridge Paid Social and Programmatic channels, ensuring alignment with client’s brand goals and performance targets.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Smartly’s internal teams, client stakeholders, and external agencies to ensure integrated planning and execution across initiatives.
- Help manage and nurture the client/agency relationship to drive trust, alignment, and long-term partnership success.
- Ensuring that media plans are effectively translated into actionable campaigns across platforms, with a focus on accuracy, consistency, and measurable performance.
- Maintain strong attention to detail and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Work closely with internal teams and Marketing Science to analyze campaign performance data, providing insights and recommendations for optimizations across channels.
- Support test-and-learn frameworks and help embed performance insights into future planning cycles.
- Facilitate clear, proactive communication across all stakeholders — internally and externally — through regular updates, meetings, and shared documentation.
- Manage campaign briefs, define SLAs, and coordinate timelines and deliverables to keep workstreams on track.

- Have 4 to 6 years of experience in digital media strategy or cross-channel planning
- Have proven understanding of both paid social and programmatic buying
- Have experience working with clients in retail or e-commerce preferred
- Are a strong cross-functional communication and project management skills
- Have a familiarity with measurement frameworks and attribution tools
- Have experience managing client relationships and collaborating across multiple stakeholders
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have a background working in a media agency or in-house planning team
- Have strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
