
Commercial Account Executive - Benelux & Nordics Growth

Smartsheet seeks a highly motivated and results-oriented Commercial Account Executive to drive revenue within our Commercial Growth segment. This role focuses on expanding existing customer accounts with 1-199 employees within the Benelux & Nordic region. You'll manage a large portfolio, driving high-volume transactional sales while identifying and pursuing strategic upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
This role is part of the Commercial Sales team and is based at Smartsheet in London, UK (hybrid or UK, remote eligible) and reports to a Regional Director, Commercial Sales.
You Will:
- Manage a large portfolio of Commercial accounts (1-199 employees).
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets through high-volume transactional sales.
- Drive commercial growth strategies within the 1-199 employee segment.
- Own the end-to-end renewal process for a large portfolio of SMB customers, with a focus on maximising retention and uncovering upsell & cross-sell potential.
- Leverage prospecting tools, including Outreach, to efficiently manage outreach cadences, drive pipeline generation, and maintain consistent engagement across a high volume of accounts.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Effectively communicate product value propositions to customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Customer Success, Marketing).
- Utilise CRM and sales tools to manage accounts and track progress.
- Continuously develop and improve sales skills and knowledge.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
You Have:
- 2+ years of full-cycle quota-carrying sales experience in a SaaS environment.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding expectations.
- Experience managing a high volume of accounts in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of the SaaS sales process and methodologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Legally eligible to work in the UK on an ongoing basis.
- Fluency in English is required and it is highly desirable if you speak additionally a Benelux or Nordic language
