Partner Marketing Manager

Smartsheet is looking for a Partner Marketing Manager to join the Partner Marketing team and lead the delivery of superior, partner-facing event experiences across the region to support Smartsheet partner recruiting, engagement and demand generation growth targets.  Additionally, this position will work closely with select, top partners providing marketing counsel and helping to execute virtual and in-person events to increase Smartsheet awareness and pipeline.   

The Partner Marketing team is a globally distributed group of passionate partner marketers who provide field marketing support for partners to generate pipeline and close business with Smartsheet.  Additionally, Partner Marketing manages partner-facing communications, to- and through-partner sales and marketing content and campaign creation.

You Will

Coordinate closely with the rest of the Global Partner Marketing team, EMEA Partner Sales, EMEA Regional Marketing and Corporate Events:

  • Lead the regional event marketing plan for EMEA partner recruiting, engagement and demand generation
  • Own end-to-end execution of Smartsheet marquee regional partner events including partner summits, bootcamps and recruiting roadshows
  • Create meticulous event project plans, outcomes tracking and reporting
  • Hyperfocus on event detail management and delivery of outstanding event experiences as demonstrated by stakeholder feedback and attendee satisfaction surveys
  • Lead creation of bespoke Marketing plans and campaigns with assigned Smartsheet Platinum and Gold partners in various EMEA territories
  • Provide guidance to partners on available resources available to them under the Smartsheet Aligned channel program to generate pipeline
  • Counsel partners on best campaign fit for their target buyer personas, Smartsheet partner type and business model
  • Help partners execute selected campaign types, which could include in-person events, virtual events, account-based marketing and/or digital campaigns
  • Manage Smartsheet’s partner marketing agency engagement in EMEA
  • Lead regional channel thought leadership and awards plan, including managing prioritized submissions in coordination with Partner Sales and Communications
  • Compile and manage consolidated reporting on new-logo and expansion deals sourced via executed campaigns

You Have

  • Eight years of event marketing experience 
  • Proven track record delivering superb-quality events in a range of in-person, virtual and hybrid formats
  • Resourcefulness and creative problem solving when unexpected circumstances arise during the course of an event
  • Strong, demonstrated ability collaborating with Sales to hit aggressive event marketing targets
  • Familiarity  with the IT channel as a route to market
  • Understanding of partner lead nurture, and how this differs from direct marketing lead flow
  • Comfortable presenting to colleagues and business partners, such as on campaign best practices
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Familiarity with various event platforms preferred (ie Eventbrite, Cvent, Zoom, ON24)
  • Partner event marketing experience a plus
  • Proficiency in Spanish, Italian, German a plus
