Field Marketing Manager - Events (Remote Eligible)

The Smartsheet North America Field Marketing team is looking for a highly motivated and experienced cross-functional marketer to work closely with sales and marketing leadership, global teams, external customers/partners, and agencies to create events, high impact experiences, campaigns and programs that elevate the Smartsheet brand, build pipeline and maximize customer engagement.

As a Field Marketing Manager Events professional in our Go-to-Market (GTM) organization, you will manage all aspects of our field events from inception to execution. Events may include ABM-focused initiatives, regional summits, leadership roundtables, webinars, vendor fairs, and in-market trade shows. While events will be the primary focus, this role also requires a versatile marketing skill set to support additional projects and programs. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the next phase of growth for Smartsheet.

You will report to the Senior Manager of Field Marketing North America and can be based in our Bellevue, WA office, or you may work remotely from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is a registered employer.

You Will:

  • Plan, develop and execute on a portfolio of events to potentially include leadership roundtables, summits, targeted ABM type events, trade shows, and other field events.
  • Create and manage event budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Partner closely with the Enterprise Sales teams, including leadership syncs, team meetings, QBRs and strategic alignment discussions.
  • Oversee all logistical aspects of events, such as venue selection, registration, attendee communications, speaker management, content development, materials, and onsite execution.
  • Conduct post-event analyses and debriefs, assessing effectiveness, demand generation, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute multi-touch, integrated marketing programs that align with regional objectives, revenue goals, and corporate initiatives.
  • Track and measure event performance, providing insights, progress updates, and results to global and regional teams.
  • Champion the core Smartsheet values and be part of the team representing Smartsheet.
  • Travel within the U.S. and Canada for event execution as required.
  • Support other projects or programs, as assigned.

You Have:

  • At least 8 years of marketing experience, with a strong emphasis on planning and managing events.
  • Proven ability to conceptualize and execute unique, high-impact events that drive engagement among existing and prospective customers and sales teams.
  • B2B marketing experience is essential; experience in SaaS or cloud software marketing is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in executing events across in-person, hybrid, and virtual formats.
  • Extensive cross-functional collaboration experience; a strong team player.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A positive, proactive, and adaptable attitude with enthusiasm for new challenges.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with a focus on Marketing or Business.

Smartsheet provides a competitive base salary range for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location. In addition, this role will be eligible for a market competitive incentive opportunity.

US Pay Range

$92,500 - $126,250 USD
