Smartsheet is seeking a Sr. Director, EMEA Field Partner Marketing to lead enterprise-focused field marketing strategy and execution across the EMEA region, while also owning the global partner co-marketing ecosystem that spans global technology and channel partners.

This is a builder role for an experienced senior leader who thrives in evolving environments and is energized by building and scaling capabilities across diverse, complex markets. Based in London and reporting to the VP, Global Field & Partner Marketing, you will define what field-led and partner-led growth look like, operating with significant autonomy, a cross-functional mandate, and direct accountability for pipeline creation, progression, and acceleration.

You will lead a multi-layered team of EMEA focused Field Marketing Managers and Partner Marketing professionals assigned to each geo. This role requires a balanced global consistency with deep local market nuance, and serves as a strong EMEA voice in global planning, executive forums, and cross-functional leadership reviews.

What You’ll Do

EMEA Field Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Own EMEA field marketing strategy, aligned to enterprise revenue targets, pipeline gaps, and regional sales priorities.
  • Lead the team responsible for field marketing, regional programs, and partner marketing across EMEA.
  • Design and execute scalable GTM programs including executive events, regional campaigns, and partner-led initiatives tailored to EMEA markets.
  • Build repeatable field marketing programs and execution frameworks that scale across EMEA markets, ensuring consistency while allowing flexibility for country-specific needs.
  • Establish FMMs and PMMs as the strategic marketing partner of EMEA Sales, with shared ownership of GTM planning and clear accountability for outcomes.
  • Partner closely with EMEA Sales leadership on territory planning, account prioritization, pipeline inspection, and forecast alignment.
  • Represent EMEA Field Marketing in global planning, executive forums, and cross-functional leadership reviews, bringing regional insights to influence global strategy.

Partner Marketing Strategy & Program Leadership

  • Define and own the global partner marketing strategy, integrated with Smartsheet’s global partner co-marketing framework and the  global demand generation model.
  • Develop and execute integrated co-marketing programs with priority technology and channel partners 
  • Build scalable, repeatable partner marketing playbooks and execution checklists for third-party and co-branded events, demand programs, and digital campaigns across EMEA.
  • Govern global partner events strategy within the broader FY27 global events calendar, ensuring investments decisions are tied directly to pipeline impact.

Pipeline & Demand Generation

  • Define success metrics and accountability including pipeline contribution, coverage, and deal acceleration across EMEA field and global partner programs.
  • Establish regular pipeline and performance inspection cadences with Sales to identify gaps and course-correct quickly.
  • Drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline
  • Partner closely with the Demand Generation team and Product marketing teams to ensure campaign alignment and consistent messaging through both the field and partner channels.
  • Leverage data and analytics to continuously measure, optimize, and report on program effectiveness; present performance to senior and executive leadership.

Budget Ownership & Operational Excellence

  • Own EMEA field and global partner marketing budget allocation, investment prioritization, and ROI accountability across all programs.
  • Establish foundational operating cadence, reporting standards, and performance management tied to pipeline and revenue outcomes.
  • Lead change through evolving operating models, new processes, and shifting expectations across Marketing and Sales teams.
  • Contribute to development of organizational policies, processes, and best practices that advance Smartsheet’s global field marketing function.

Team Leadership & Culture

  • Lead, develop, and grow a multi-layered team of Field Marketing and Partner Marketing professionals; provide coaching, direction, and career development.
  • Ignite a culture of inclusivity, recognizing the strengths that individuals bring to the team to promote engagement and development opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional peers and influence senior stakeholders across Sales, Demand Gen, and Product Marketing; navigate competing priorities with clarity and purpose.

  • EMEA Field Marketing operates as a predictable, measurable pipeline engine aligned to enterprise sales priorities.
  • Clear operating models, reporting, and rhythms are in place across priority EMEA markets.
  • Marketing investments demonstrably improve pipeline coverage, velocity, and deal progression.
  • A world-class global partner co-marketing motion is embedded across Smartsheet’s GTM, with measurable partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline.
  • The team is high-performing, engaged, and positioned as a strategic marketing partner to Sales.

What You’ll Bring

  • 15+ years of B2B marketing experience, including senior leadership roles supporting enterprise sales motions — ideally spanning both field and partner or channel marketing.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling field marketing teams, programs, and operating models across EMEA markets with varying GTM maturity.
  • Experience leading and scaling partner co-marketing programs that deliver measurable pipeline impact at regional or global scale.
  • Deep familiarity with technology partner ecosystems — experience marketing with or through hyperscalers (Google, Microsoft, AWS) and/or data/AI platform partners is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into functional plans and lead cross-functional teams to execute; comfortable operating in ambiguity.
  • Strong executive presence and influencing skills — you can negotiate complex priorities, align stakeholders with competing interests, and present confidently to C-suite leadership.
  • Experience owning and managing multi-million dollar marketing budgets with clear ROI accountability.
  • Strong data-driven mindset with experience using Salesforce, Tableau, or similar platforms for executive reporting.
  • B2B SaaS experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to travel globally as required, primarily across EMEA, US and ANZ.
  • Legally eligible to work in the UK on an ongoing basis
