Manager, Revenue Operations Analytics / Revops (Hybrid- Bangalore)

Bangalore, INDIA

For over 20 years, Smartsheet has empowered teams to manage work seamlessly and scale solutions smarter. Now, in our most ambitious chapter yet, we are uniting human teams with AI agents. By orchestrating the work agents do best, automating manual tasks and uncovering insights at scale, we create the space for people to focus on what truly matters: judgment, creativity, and big thinking. That is magic at work, and it’s what we show up for every day.

Smartsheet is hiring a Manager, Revenue Operations Analytics to lead and grow our India-based analytics team in Bangalore. This is a senior people management role at the intersection of analytical strategy and operational execution — you will own the day-to-day leadership of five Senior Revenue Operations Analysts and one Data Engineer, while serving as a key strategic partner to Go-To Market (GTM) leadership globally.

You will drive the analytical agenda that informs Smartsheet's growth strategy, aligning data and analysis around pipeline health, sales productivity, retention, territory effectiveness, services utilization, and commission planning. Your team will be at the center of how the GTM organization understands its business and makes decisions.

This role is designed to bring senior analytical leadership into the IST time zone, providing direct, timezone-aligned support to the India-based team while maintaining meaningful overlap with North America Pacific Time leadership. You will also be a bridge to Smartsheet's Bangalore BI and Data Engineering teams, deepening the partnership between Revenue Operations and the broader data platform organization.

You will report to our Sr Manager, Revenue Operation Analytics.

You Will:

  • People Leadership & Team Development
    • Directly manage 5 Senior Revenue Operations Analysts and 1 Data Engineer in Bangalore, providing day-to-day guidance, coaching, and operational support.
    • Set clear priorities, hold the team accountable for high-quality and timely outputs, and own performance management including merit reviews and calibrations.
    • Support career growth through regular 1:1s, identifying skill gaps, and coordinating mentorship and development opportunities.
    • Partner with HR on recruiting, onboarding, and workforce planning for the Bangalore team.
  • Analytics Execution & Business Partnership
    • Act as the primary analytics business partner out of our Bangalore office for Global Sales and GTM leaders, translating business questions into structured analysis, reports, and recommendations.
    • Lead team execution across Revenue Operations priorities: pipeline health, retention, sales productivity, territory performance, services utilization, and commission planning.
    • Help create, evolve, and maintain the Sales reporting infrastructure; mine large datasets to surface insights and monitor for anomalies and data quality issues.
    • Partner with Bangalore BI and Data Engineering teams to build scalable analytics solutions and ensure data pipelines meet the team's needs.
    • Present findings clearly to stakeholders across the organization — from peer teams to senior GTM leadership — for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Operations & Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Translate functional plans into operational processes; manage team work intake, project tracking, stakeholder updates, and milestone reviews.
    • Recommend and implement process improvements that increase team throughput and analytical quality.
    • Maintain flexible overlap with North America Pacific Time leadership to stay aligned on priorities, decisions, and escalations.
    • Build strong relationships with the Bangalore BI and Data Engineering organizations, connecting Revenue Operations Analytics to the broader data platform.

You Have:

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in analytics, revenue operations, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • 2+ years of direct people management experience, with demonstrated ability to develop and support a team of analysts.
  • Deep expertise in SQL and data preparation for analysis, modeling, and visualization.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or equivalent).
  • Proven ability to translate business questions into analysis, reports, and recommendations for Sales or GTM stakeholders.
  • Experience in Cloud or SaaS go-to-market analytics (pipeline, ARR, retention, sales productivity, or similar).
  • Strong communication skills — able to present data and findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable with flexible working hours to maintain overlap with North American Pacific Time leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (engineering, mathematics, statistics, economics, business, or computer science).

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with statistical techniques: time series analysis, cluster analysis, multivariate modeling.
  • Familiarity with data engineering concepts and ability to collaborate effectively with a data engineer on pipeline and infrastructure work.
  • Channel / Partner GTM experience.
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization with cross-functional teams across time zones.
  • Prior experience partnering with BI or Data Engineering teams in a shared-service model.
