COMPENSATION RANGE:  $26 - $29 Per Hour

What We Are Looking For

A Market Visual Merchandiser who can create impactful in-store experiences that drive sales and maintain brand consistency. This role collaborates with Corporate VM to deliver training initiatives, ensuring store teams effectively understand and execute brand guidelines.

Organizational Structure - Reporting Relationships

Internal:

  • Direct Supervisor: Director, Visual Merchandising
  • Department Head: Executive Vice President, Retail

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Oversee Sandro and Maje locations in-person and virtually, with a focus on the Costa Mesa market.
  • Field-based role, Monday through Friday.

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Visual Execution & Training

  • Implement visual directives and guidelines.
  • Analyze reports to improve visual performance.
  • Train and support store teams on visual standards.
  • Assist with promotions, marketing, and window displays.
  • Ensure timely submission of updates and photos.

Store Visits & Compliance

  • Conduct daily in-person store visits to ensure proper execution.
  • Verify in-store setup through a 3rd – party application and provide email support for remote locations.
  • Lead visual walkthroughs and provide action plans when necessary.
  • Recap visits using the VM Audit and track follow-up actions.
  • Ensure stores meet photo compliance deadlines.

Corporate Partnership & Reporting

  • Collaborate with Corporate VM to maintain brand standards.
  • Submit monthly visual calendar, weekly recap, and visit photos.
  • Join weekly calls with Corporate VM to refine strategies based on reports.

Principal Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Required 

Required Skills/Knowledge:

Education & Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of visual merchandising experience, preferably in luxury retail.
  • Background in store, or field visual merchandising, including window and interior displays.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practices.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable to change.
  • Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and work under pressure.
  • Strong execution skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to commute efficiently from store to store.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, climb ladders, and move fixtures.
  • Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
