About the Role

As Brand Manager for Sandro and Maje at Holt Renfrew, you will serve as the key business driver and brand ambassador within your leased concession shop. You will not manage a traditional retail sales team—instead, you will work closely with Holt Renfrew’s in-house selling team to equip them with brand knowledge, motivate them to prioritize our product, and partner with them to serve shared clients.

You’ll also oversee all store-level operations, ensuring the business reflects the elegance and standards of Sandro and Maje while meeting performance targets.

Your Key Responsibilities

Brand Advocacy & Relationship Management

  • Build strong daily partnerships with Holt Renfrew Stylists, Department Managers, and Floor Leads
  • Inspire Holt Renfrew associates to embrace Sandro + Maje and promote our products
  • Deliver regular product knowledge sessions, seasonal training, and styling updates
  • Provide styling support and co-sell with Holt Stylists during peak times and client appointments

Client Experience

  • Act as a brand expert and stylist for top clients; assist Holt Stylists with wardrobing, clienteling, and look-building
  • Be present on the floor to drive awareness, assist with VIPs, and support styling appointments
  • Collaborate with Holt Stylists to grow the local client base and strengthen brand loyalty

Business Ownership

  • Own boutique-level KPIs including sales, sell-through, conversion, and appointment selling
  • Analyze performance data and partner with Holt leadership to drive shared results
  • Execute visual merchandising and brand presentation to SMCP standards

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee all day-to-day operations: shipments, inventory, transfers, replenishment, and product flow
  • Collaborate with the SMCP Operations Associate to maintain back-of-house accuracy and efficiency
  • Ensure adherence to both SMCP and Holt Renfrew operational procedures

Team Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor your Junior Brand Manager and Operations Associate
  • Foster a positive, proactive, and brand-aligned work culture
  • Act as the key liaison between SMCP HQ and the store location

What You Bring

  • 2–3 years of experience in retail leadership or brand representation (luxury or premium fashion preferred)
  • Strong ability to build cross-functional relationships and influence without direct authority
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client interaction skills
  • Deep knowledge of fashion trends, styling, and luxury client experience
  • Highly organized, proactive, and polished in appearance and demeanor
  • Bilingual (English/French) preferred for Montreal
