What We Are Looking For
The Finance Operations Manager – AR & O2C plays a key role in overseeing the end-to-end Order-to-Cash (O2C) process, with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable operations, sales audit, and financial systems oversight. This includes managing the monthly settlement processes with department store and concession partners. The role also serves as the primary point of contact within the North America Finance team for all matters related to O2C cash matters within the ERP, including Oracle and integrations with PSPs— supporting both daily operations and issue resolution.

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
1. Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Retail Sales Audit Processes Management
- Oversee the full O2C cycle, ensuring efficient processing from sales validation and billing, up to receipt of payments and AR reconciliation.
- Oversee daily sales audit processes for Retail and E Commerce, ensuring sales and tender data from POS and e-commerce platforms align with system postings and payment settlements.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Retail, IT, Accounting) and external providers to ensure accurate and timely capture of sales and tender data across all channels (Retail, E-Commerce, Concessions). Support troubleshooting when required.
- Ensure robust daily reconciliation of sales and tender types and proactively address discrepancies with payment providers and system teams.
- Manage and oversea bank reconciliation of sale receipts to ensure all transactions between customer payments, POS, e-commerce and third-party payment platform transactions are accurately deposited and recorded.
- Drive continuous improvement by refining and automating key reconciliation tasks, as well as identify and implement process improvements to streamline and automate O2C workflows.
2. Accounts Receivable (AR) Management
- Lead AR operations, with strong focus on department store and concession partner settlement management.
- Supervise the AR Analyst, ensuring timely invoicing, collection, dispute resolution, and reconciliation of statements from partners such as Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, Saks, etc.
- Review partner remittances and validate deductions or chargebacks in coordination with Partner & Sales teams, Logistics, and Marketing.
- Oversee and monitor the AR aging schedule, drive resolution of overdue balances, and ensure timely cash application.
3. Finance operations support
- Partner with the Director of Accounting to support month-end close, with focus on those areas related to the reconciliation of AR subledger to the general ledger, validation of sales and cash postings, and preparation of month-end schedules.
- Support to CFO and FP&A in assisting in preparation and automation of cash flow forecasting, leveraging automation capabilities of the Treasury Management System (TMS)
- Assist in preparing documentation and support for year-end financial audits, including process narratives, audit samples, and reconciliations, particularly for any topic related to AR, Cash and Sales Audit
- Identify and help resolve variances or gaps in sales and receivables data during the financial close process.
- Through the year, support ad hoc projects related to ongoing audit readiness, internal controls, and operational efficiencies.
Principal Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Required
- 3-5 years of experience in Finance Operations, AR, or Accounting, preferably in the retail or consumer goods sector
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
- Proven expertise in O2C cycle, AR, and retail/concession settlement processes
- Department Stores / concessions settlement experience is required
- Experience with Oracle ERP (or equivalent) and payment service provider (e.g.: Adyen, PayPal, etc.) is required
- Advanced Excel skills, including appetite for analyzing large datasets and reconciliation techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with high attention to detail
- Good communication and collaboration skills; able to work cross-functionally across teams and geographies
- Proven ability to manage workload independently and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
