What We Are Looking For

The Junior FP&A Analyst provides day-to-day analytical and reporting support to the FP&A Manager. The role is focused on assisting with data preparation, reporting accuracy, and financial analysis to help the North America FP&A team deliver timely and insightful business performance reviews.

Organizational Structure - Reporting Relationships

Internal:

  • Direct Supervisor: FP&A Manager, North America
  • Executive Head: CFO, SMCP North America

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: 

 Retail & Sales Reporting

  • Prepare and update daily, weekly, and monthly retail sales reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) under the supervision of the FP&A Manager.
  • Consolidate sales and conversion data to support business reviews and retail performance analysis.
  • Assist with reforecasting and performance tracking, providing variance analyses and comments for the Retail and E-Commerce teams.

Corporate Reporting

  • Support the FP&A Manager in preparing P&L analyses for corporate functions and maintaining cost trackers (e.g., Store costs, SG&A, etc.).
  • Generate monthly cost center reports and assist in preliminary variance analyses versus budget and forecast.
  • Help investigate cost variances and provide initial insights to management.

Monthly Closing and Review

  • Contribute to the monthly closing process in coordination with accounting.
  • Retrieve and organize data from Oracle and other systems to support monthly reviews (Retail, DTC, Partners) and management presentations.
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and efficiency of reporting and accrual tracking.

Budget & Forecast Support

  • Provide Team support during Budget and Forecast cycles by preparing templates, consolidating submissions, and validating data accuracy.

Ad Hoc Analysis and Systems

  • Assist the FP&A Manager with ad hoc analyses and data requests from Group or Regional management (Executive Management, Retail & Digital teams, etc.).
  • Help maintain master data reporting structures and data accuracy in systems (PBCS, Excel, Oracle).
  • Perform other analytical or administrative tasks as assigned by the FP&A Manager or CFO.

Principal Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Required  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in FP&A, Accounting, or related analytical functions (internships included).
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical mindset.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; solid knowledge of PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP and reporting systems (Oracle, PBCS, or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Genuine interest in the fashion and retail industry and enthusiasm for financial planning and analysis.
