Job Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Director of Business Operations to drive operational excellence across our Customer Success and Member Services organization. This role will partner closely with the SVP of Customer Success, providing leadership and operational rigor to ensure we scale effectively while delivering exceptional service.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills, process design expertise, and a bias for action. You will help design and optimize how we operate, ensuring our teams have the systems, processes, and insights needed to meet ambitious growth and service goals.
This role is based onsite at office in either Lehi, UT or Plano, TX.
What you will do:
- Partner with the SVP to drive operational strategy, planning, and execution for Customer Success and Member Services.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and quality of service delivery.
- Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and reporting to monitor team performance, service levels, and business outcomes.
- Support quarterly and annual planning processes, including headcount, capacity modeling, and resource allocation.
- Identify and drive process improvements, automation opportunities, and best practices across the organization.
- Act as a thought partner to the SVP and leadership team, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Coordinate key business rhythms such as weekly business reviews, monthly operating reviews, and team offsites.
- Manage vendor relationships and support technology/tool selection and implementation to enable operational scale.
- Lead and mentor a small Business Operations team, as applicable.
What you will bring to SmithRx:
- 8+ years of experience in Business Operations, Strategy, or Program Management roles, with at least 2+ years in a leadership capacity.
- Experience supporting Customer Success, Service, or Operations functions, ideally in healthcare, healthtech, or similarly regulated industries.
- Strong analytical skills with experience managing KPIs, operational dashboards, and business performance reporting.
- Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives and driving operational change in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Effective communicator and collaborator, skilled at working across functions and levels of the organization.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and scaling processes in a high-growth environment.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant graduate degree is a plus.
