Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Munich, Snke is transforming healthtech with scalable, data-driven innovation powered by AI and big data analytics. We're experts specializing in large platforms, digital health and software-driven medical technology. By delivering a trusted orchestration layer, Snke empowers healthcare providers, societies, registries, agencies and all partners to deploy cutting-edge solutions for safe and efficient interventions and enhances patient outcomes. We're now seeking a motivated and technically skilled IT Administrator to join our IT team. Reporting to our Sr. Director of IT, the ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our internal IT systems and infrastructure and assisting co-workers’ IT needs.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver world-class, customer-centric IT support—99% remotely—to internal teams, ensuring rapid, professional resolution of hardware, software, and cloud-service issues.
  • Occasional in-person visits (Westchester or downtown Chicago office) to assist on-site, as needed.
  • Troubleshoot complex Windows 10/11 performance problems on high-end Dell workstations running real-time 3D and creative applications (Unreal Engine, Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max, Adobe CC, etc.); provide Mac support when required.
  • Manage end-user device lifecycles and logistics—including inventory, shipping, storage-locker coordination, and asset recovery—for a distributed workforce.
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and groups across SaaS and cloud-identity platforms (Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Azure AD, Google Workspace, JumpCloud).
  • Configure, maintain, and enhance endpoint management via MDM solutions for Windows and Mac (Intune, Jamf, JumpCloud); leverage Apple Business Manager for macOS/iOS device enrollment.
  • Deploy, support, and troubleshoot MFA and identity services (Okta, Duo, or similar).
  • Embed security into every task: follow CIA principles, contribute to our ISO 27001 roadmap, and uphold compliance and best practices.
  • Create and maintain clear documentation—knowledge bases, runbooks, process workflows, and asset records.
  • Partner closely with the IT Director in a hands-on, “in the trenches” environment; learn, grow, and advance into senior roles through real responsibility and mentorship.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in IT support or systems administration, demonstrating a strong customer-service orientation.
  • Expert Windows troubleshooting skills (performance tuning, diagnostics, driver/firmware management); foundational Mac support experience.
  • Hands-on experience with MDM tools for both Windows and Mac (Intune, Jamf, JumpCloud) and familiarity with Apple Business Manager.
  • Experience supporting real-time 3D and creative apps (Unreal Engine, Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max, Adobe CC).
  • Proficiency administering SaaS collaboration and productivity tools—including Atlassian (Jira, JSM, Confluence), Slack, password managers, and cloud-identity platforms.
  • Practical understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals (CIA triad) and eagerness to contribute to ISO 27001 compliance efforts.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable working 99% remotely in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Based in the greater Chicago area, with flexibility for infrequent in-person collaboration at our Westchester or downtown Chicago office.
  • A passion for learning new technologies and growing into advanced IT and security roles.

Salary Range

  • The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
