Enterprise Sales Leader: Data-as-a-Service

San Francisco, CA (Hybrid); United States (Remote)

About Snorkel

At Snorkel, we believe meaningful AI doesn’t start with the model, it starts with the data.

We’re on a mission to help enterprises transform expert knowledge into specialized AI at scale. The AI landscape has gone through incredible changes between 2015, when Snorkel started as a research project in the Stanford AI Lab, to the generative AI breakthroughs of today. But one thing has remained constant: the data you use to build AI is the key to achieving differentiation, high performance, and production-ready systems. We work with some of the world’s largest organizations to empower scientists, engineers, financial experts, product creators, journalists, and more to build custom AI with their data faster than ever before. Excited to help us redefine how AI is built? Apply to be the newest Snorkeler!

Our Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) offering combines the power of programmatic data labeling and human-in-the-loop workflows to deliver training datasets faster, with higher accuracy, and at a fraction of the manual cost.

Unlike traditional data labeling vendors, which rely heavily on manual processes, Snorkel AI’s approach is automated, iterative, and built for customization at scale. Backed by years of Stanford research and trusted by leading Fortune 500 enterprises and government agencies, Snorkel helps teams ship ML products faster by transforming how training data is created.

Our DaaS business is growing rapidly, and we’re looking for a proven enterprise sales leader to scale our go-to-market efforts.  We’re seeking a strategic, execution-oriented Global Head of Frontier AI to lead our team of Account Executives focused exclusively on selling Snorkel’s Expert Data-as-a-Service offering. You will own revenue, pipeline development, and sales team performance across our DaaS line of business, and work closely with cross-functional leaders in Delivery, Solutions, Product, and Marketing to align sales efforts with execution capacity and customer success. As an ideal candidate, you have a strong track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams in technical, services-enabled, enterprise environments—particularly in AI/ML, data infrastructure, or cloud services.

Snorkel AI empowers organizations to build AI applications faster with programmatic data labeling, robust training data pipelines, and expert human-in-the-loop capabilities. Our newest offering — Expert Data-as-a-Service (EDaaS) — brings together Snorkel’s cutting-edge AI/ML platform with a curated network of expert contributors to deliver the highest quality training data for the most ambitious AI initiatives.

As we expand this offering, we are seeking a Sales Leader to build and lead a team focused exclusively on Frontier Labs — the most advanced AI research and development organizations in the world. This is a high-impact leadership role at the forefront of AI innovation.

The Role

You will own the go-to-market strategy, team development, and revenue growth for our Frontier AI business. This includes leading a team of Account Executives, setting clear targets, coaching for excellence, and personally engaging in our most strategic opportunities. You’ll partner closely with Snorkel’s product, delivery, and marketing teams to align our unique capabilities with the complex, rapidly evolving needs of the world’s most sophisticated AI builders.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead & Grow the Team – Build, mentor, and manage a team of high-performing Account Executives to create long-term value through innovative collaborations and new market opportunities
  • Drive Strategic Revenue – Oversee and engage in complex enterprise sales cycles with leading AI/ML organizations, including foundational model developers, research labs, and advanced AI product teams.
  • Shape GTM Strategy – Define market segmentation, territory strategy, and account plans to capture high-value opportunities.
  • Executive Relationship Management – Cultivate trusted relationships with senior technical leaders, research teams, and C-level executives within target accounts.
  • Translate Complex Needs into Solutions – Understand cutting-edge AI development workflows and translate nuanced technical requirements into compelling EDaaS proposals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with product, delivery, and marketing to ensure EDaaS offerings evolve in step with customer needs and industry trends.
  • Thought Leadership – Represent Snorkel in strategic discussions around AI data quality, model alignment & safety, and responsible AI development.
  • Operational Excellence – Drive pipeline discipline, forecast accuracy, and repeatable sales motions that scale.

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years of enterprise sales experience in AI/ML, data solutions, or emerging technology, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing high-performing sales teams.
  • Proven success leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and closing strategic, high-value deals with advanced AI organizations or analogous technical enterprises.
  • Deep understanding of AI/ML development lifecycles, particularly data collection, labeling, evaluation, and alignment workflows for large models.
  • Experience selling to research-heavy environments and navigating technical buyer networks.
  • Strong leadership presence — able to coach, inspire, and hold teams accountable while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Exceptional executive communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders alike.
  • Strategic, analytical mindset paired with a hands-on, execution-oriented approach.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
