Principal Growth Marketing Manager

San Francisco, CA (Hybrid)

About Snorkel

At Snorkel, we believe meaningful AI doesn’t start with the model, it starts with the data.

We’re on a mission to help enterprises transform expert knowledge into specialized AI at scale. The AI landscape has gone through incredible changes between 2015, when Snorkel started as a research project in the Stanford AI Lab, to the generative AI breakthroughs of today. But one thing has remained constant: the data you use to build AI is the key to achieving differentiation, high performance, and production-ready systems. We work with some of the world’s largest organizations to empower scientists, engineers, financial experts, product creators, journalists, and more to build custom AI with their data faster than ever before. Excited to help us redefine how AI is built? Apply to be the newest Snorkeler!

About the Team

The Marketing team at Snorkel AI powers the engine behind our brand, community, and go-to-market success. We work cross-functionally with product, sales, and customer teams to build awareness, generate demand, and create experiences that bring our mission — helping frontier labs and enterprises put AI to work with better data — to life.

About the Role

We're looking for a Principal Growth Marketer to reimagine how Snorkel AI generates and accelerates pipeline. This isn't a traditional demand gen role — it's a modern, full-stack growth position for someone who blends creative storytelling with rigorous experimentation and data fluency. You'll build programs that go beyond paid campaigns and MQL handoffs, leveraging product signals, community engagement, thought leadership, and AI-native tooling to reach technical buyers in ways that feel authentic and high-signal. You'll sit at the intersection of marketing, sales, and product to architect growth motions that are as innovative as the technology we build.

This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco.

Responsibilities

  • Modern Growth Strategy: Design and own a growth engine that goes beyond traditional demand gen — blending paid, organic, product-led, and community-driven channels into a cohesive, always-on pipeline machine.
  • Creative Campaign Development: Conceive and launch campaigns that cut through the noise with technical audiences — think benchmark drops, interactive data playgrounds, developer-first content, and viral research moments, not just gated whitepapers.
  • Experimentation & Optimization: Run rapid, structured experiments across the full funnel. A/B test everything from ad creative and landing pages to email sequences and conversion flows. Let the data decide.
  • Signal-Based Pipeline Generation: Move beyond MQL-centric models. Build intent-based and signal-driven programs that surface and engage high-fit accounts using product consumption data, research engagement, and third-party intent signals.
  • ABM & Personalized Outreach: Partner with sales to run sophisticated, multi-touch ABM plays targeting enterprise and frontier lab accounts with relevant, timely, and genuinely useful content.
  • Analytics & Attribution: Partner with Marketing Ops on growth dashboards and reporting. Build a clear picture of what's working, where pipeline comes from, and how to allocate resources for maximum impact.
  • AI Tooling: Leverage modern AI tools to scale programs efficiently. Bring a builder's mindset to marketing infrastructure.
  • Cross-Functional Growth Loops: Collaborate with product marketing, research, content, and sales to create compounding growth loops where great research fuels great content, which fuels great conversations, which fuels great deals.

About You

You're not a traditional demand gen marketer — you're the next evolution. You think in growth loops, not linear funnels. You're as comfortable writing a compelling campaign brief as you are digging into conversion data or spinning up a new experiment in your marketing stack. You have strong opinions about why most B2B marketing is broken and a track record of doing it differently. You're drawn to technical products, energized by fast-moving teams, and motivated by building something genuinely new.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in growth marketing, demand generation, or performance marketing — ideally in B2B technology, developer tools, or AI/ML
  • A track record of building and scaling programs that directly and measurably drive pipeline and revenue, not just top-of-funnel vanity metrics
  • Experience moving beyond traditional MQL models toward signal-based, intent-driven, or product-led growth motions
  • Deep comfort with data — you can build dashboards, run experiments, and make resource allocation decisions grounded in analytics
  • Hands-on proficiency with modern marketing and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo/HubSpot, 6sense or Demandbase, Google Analytics, Looker) and a willingness to adopt AI-powered tooling
  • Experience with account-based marketing strategies targeting enterprise or highly technical buyer personas
  • Strong creative instincts — you can develop campaigns that feel fresh, relevant, and authentic to developer and data science audiences
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and moving fast in a high-growth startup environment
  • A genuine passion for AI and an understanding of (or eagerness to learn) the AI/ML landscape, including benchmarks, model evaluation, and data-centric AI

Salary Range

$186,000 - $275,000 USD

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
