Senior Emerging Technologies Solutions Engineering Specialist

London, UK

Every day, the world gets more digital thanks to tens of millions of developers building the future faster than ever. But with exponential growth comes exponential risk, as outnumbered security teams struggle to secure mountains of code. This is where Snyk (pronounced “sneak”) comes in. Snyk is a developer security platform that makes it easy for development teams to find, prioritize, and fix security vulnerabilities in code, dependencies, containers, and cloud infrastructure — and do it all right from the start. Snyk is on a mission to make the world a more secure place by empowering developers to develop fast and stay secure.

Joining Snyk means embracing our core values: One Team, Care Deeply, Customer Centric, and Forward Thinking. • Driving Adoption of New Solutions: Work alongside sales leadership to differentiate products, overcome deal-specific technical challenges, and drive revenue through campaigns that highlight new, innovative solutions.
  • Field Enablement and Technical Support: Serve as a go-to technical resource for pre-sales and post-sales teams, helping to resolve technical concerns and bridge the gap between product capabilities and customer needs.
  • Collaborating with Product and Engineering: Provide actionable feedback from the field to Product teams, influence product direction, and work on enhancements to better position acquired technologies within the portfolio.
  • Training and Enablement Content Creation: Develop educational content, including best practices, technical overviews, and product differentiators to ensure seamless onboarding of new solutions across the sales engineering and enablement teams.
  • Delivering Technical Presentations: Confidently present Snyk’s new solutions both internally and to customers, addressing groups large and small to generate excitement and understanding of product capabilities.
  • Optimizing Operational Efficiency: Streamline processes and coordinate resources to support technical engagements globally, continuously optimizing for efficiency in customer and product delivery.
  • Building Cross-Functional Relationships: Cultivate productive relationships with teams in Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Enablement to anticipate market needs, address product gaps, and create alignment on go-to-market initiatives.

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development, application security, or emerging technologies.
  • 3+ years in a customer-facing technical role within software or security industries.
  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability analysis and mitigation using security tools, ideally SAST, SCA, or DAST.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and initiatives.
  • Strong presentation skills and comfort speaking to groups, both virtually and in person.
  • Technical acumen paired with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) to translate complex concepts for various audiences.
