Our Opportunity

Imagine being at the forefront of innovation, where you'll architect and drive the next generation of application security powered by Artificial Intelligence within Snyk Code! As our Staff Product Manager for AI, you won't just be managing a product; you'll be leading the AI revolution for Snyk Code. You'll be the visionary, the strategist, and the driving force behind our AI investments, taking groundbreaking capabilities like DeepCode AI Fix and propelling us into uncharted territories of intelligent security.

This isn't just another product role – it's a chance to leave a lasting mark on the world of application security. You'll be at the helm of complex and high-impact initiatives, directly influencing the security posture of countless developers and organizations. You'll collaborate across teams, inspire innovation, and see your AI-powered vision come to life, delivering tangible and measurable results that truly matter.

Additionally, you will refine and own the AI-focused aspects of the Snyk Code product strategy, building compelling business cases based on the business and revenue opportunities presented by AI. This includes evaluating how AI-driven features enable expansion within our current customer base and market segments, as well as identifying and meeting the needs of new market segments through differentiated AI offerings.

You’ll Spend Your Time:

  • Becoming the go to expert in the application of AI within the software development and security domains, particularly in the context of SAST.
  • Partnering with senior leaders to chart the ambitious long-term course for AI-driven features within Snyk Code, setting the stage for groundbreaking advancements.
  • Fueling the engine of innovation, driving the execution of our AI strategy and ensuring seamless alignment across the organization to bring your vision to reality.
  • Showcasing the magic of Snyk's AI to our most strategic customers and prospects, captivating them with the power and potential of intelligent security.
  • Deep diving into user insights and data, specifically around AI adoption and impact, to uncover exciting new frontiers for AI-powered features and enhancements.
  • Spearheading strategic AI initiatives, collaborating with brilliant minds across Engineering, Data Science, and Marketing to bring your boldest ideas to fruition.
  • Elevating Snyk's thought leadership by engaging with industry analysts, the press, and fellow AI/ML experts, sharing our cutting-edge advancements.
  • Becoming a mentor and inspiration to other Product Managers, fostering an AI-first mindset and contributing to a culture of innovation within the PM team.
  • Championing the adoption of the latest and greatest in AI/ML, ensuring Snyk remains at the technological forefront.
  • Being the decisive voice in shaping the future of AI within Snyk Code, driving alignment and buy-in across diverse stakeholders.
  • Engaging in dynamic technical discussions with our talented Engineering and Data Science teams, exploring the most innovative AI/ML approaches to evolve our product with a keen eye on business impact.

What You’ll Need:

  • 8+ years of Product Management experience, ideally with some experience in the DevOps or security space, and a demonstrable track record of leading and delivering compelling features or products.
  • Deeply knowledgeable of product management methodologies and processes.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, able to present complex concepts and strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A proven ability to spark positive change and influence outcomes beyond your immediate scope.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, including the evolving landscape of AI capabilities, to inform the Snyk Code AI strategy and ensure a competitive advantage.

We’d be Lucky if You: 

  • Background in Cybersecurity, Software Composition Analysis (SCA), or Static Application Security Testing (SAST) technologies.
  • Direct experience working with Data Science and Machine Learning teams.
